Wrapping wire has become a new obsession! Here I have used stainless steel wire to create a tree as well as thinner copper wire and set this one on a rock from the garden. They can come in any size but I find the copper looks best at around 10-12 inchs though steel is thicker so that works at about 30-40.

My 3 current favourites
I'm sure this may change again in the future but at the moment these are my three favourite paintings - Dusk over the sea, Lady looking out the window and Paris. Possibly not the best titles but what I call them
Mixture of oil paintings on canvas
I have attached here a couple of different examples of paintings that I have given as gifts - happy to copy a favourite painting at anyone's request, or create my version of a photo you have or given an idea like 'I love poppies' coming up with ideas from there.
Klimt Copies!
My favourite artist is Klimt and here I attempted to make my own copies as unfortunately I can not afford to buy any! It was only oil paintings used and no gold leaf but I loved the bright yellow in the final paintings.
My Degas Phase
I spent a wet weekend looking at Degas paintings which led me to try some out for myself. There is a mixture of materials used here such as chalk on coloured papers as well as oil paints on sugar paper. Quick, loose paintings....
Nude Series
I was attempting to create a mood using just limited colours and then a nude outline in black...does it work?
These are oil paints on sugar paper and wrapping paper which created a real rough look with the paint which I liked. They all differ in size with my large orange lady being nearly 3 foot by 1 foot but the others all around A4 size.

Portraits
Though not everyone in your family may want to see these hanging on the walls, a great gift could be a portrait. This is my Mam, Dad and little sister Steffi.
